Pros

Usually not too strenuous, rewarding job. Can be lots of downtime. Easy to pick up additional hours and overtime. Small per call bonus. Coworkers can be a great hang.

Cons

Base pay is nothing crazy. Not all ambulances are fantastic (old or in disrepair). Higher ups aren't great with communication. No guaranteed raises.

There is no pros to working for this place!

Cons

I don’t even know where to start! This is the most toxic workplace I have ever worked in. I have never worked at a place where after nearly every shift I go home hating my job and hating my life! Management doesn’t do anything to help employees! This place has such a bad reputation that I would rather explain a gap of employment then list this place! This place also needs to be investigated for Medicare/medicaid fraud! They will list calls that the hospital wants BLS and then send an ALS or CCT to run it because management wants dispatch to do that. If you want to hate your life and crave to work with incompetent coworkers and management then this is the place for you! Everyone else should stay far back from this place because it’s not worth sacrificing your mental health for!
