Pros
It is difficult to get hired given the high bar set by the company. However, that high bar means that there are a lot of very smart and talented people at SIS. The company cares about the people, is very transparent about the industry issues and company performance and finally it is focused on success. SIS is not a company where you can fly under the radar in terms of performance. I like that and believe the company gives you the time to develop and participate in whatever level you would like to. No one says, "you are being ambitious" Effort and drive are well rewarded. I have developed significantly from a professional perspective as a direct result of working at SIS. I know many others can and have said the same thing!
Cons
SIS is a smaller company and to some that can seem like less "stuff" than larger companies. The reality is that I get to make a bigger impact and work on more that I would in a much larger company. I can work with my peers and the next day be shoulder to shoulder with a senior management team member learning more about the industry and the company. I would never get that visibility at other companies.
