It’s a job. One where you are underpaid and never appreciated.

Cons

Everything. Leadership sucks. No raises. Corporate employees are drowning. Type of places where leadership checks badge scans for arrival and departure from office. You work on Christmas Eve.

Flexible hours. You don't have to work a lot of hours

Cons

On-call 24/7/365 and not enough compensation for on-call. You literally can't go anywhere on the weekends because you are on call. Can't go camping with the family.
