Pros

- A good place to get a foundation in the tech industry - very low stress - They'll bring in people new to the industry, first job out of college, and career switchers. Get your foot in the door and some experience here, and then you can transition to a company that will pay you what you're worth.

Cons

- Synology pays about 30% below the market rate. - The most WFH hostile organization I've ever seen - Very high turnover rate. It's a turn and burn shop and they seem to be ok with that. They are willing to bring in people that may not be able to break into this industry or role, but it doesn't take long before people can get another job for a 50% pay bump. - False advertising for pay ranges. Job listings give a $55k-$100k pay range, but managers have said that "no one starts above $70k - No room for growth or advancement. I tried multiple times to bring new opportunities or angles to the company, shot down every time - General level of distrust from management of non-management workers
