Synology Inc may be a prestigious, respectable company in the tech world, however the US subsidiary is stuck in startup mode. No one actually knows what they are doing. There are no real guidelines or standard procedures. The culture is incredibly toxic and presenting new ideas to make things more efficient are absurdly resisted by management who, by the way, base their actions on "feeling" rather than statistical fact or metric, even when presented to their face. This applies to all faucets of management operation, most glaringly in EVALUATION which sometimes results in termination. For years it has repeated this pattern: 1. hire talented, inexperienced workers 2. horrendous management drives them away once they realize their skills are being wasted through complete misuse, underpay, and ignorance 3. the jaded few who stay because they're content with being stuck doing remedial tasks with no input or advancement laugh among themselves 4. repeat

Extreme distrust towards employees, manage out of fear, management is clueless to flaws in business model, lack of experience at management level puts management at odds with employees who are trying to great things. NO earning potential or room for growth.
