Thank you for sharing your perspective. It’s wonderful to hear you felt respected and appreciated by your coworkers and management during your time with SPA. Fostering an environment in which folks not only excel in supporting their customers but also feel empowered to support one another is a key goal of SPA, and part of the reason why we have been ranked as a Top Workplace by the Washington Post for 11 consecutive years. At SPA, we also understand the important role compensation plays in workplace satisfaction. That’s why leadership regularly reviews our contracts to ensure SPA offers competitive salaries that match and/or beat others in the industry. We have also recently launched salary bands to promote parity across individuals in certain jobs, career tracks, and clearance levels. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts regarding your coworkers, management, and compensation. The feedback will help inform decisions as we strive for continual improvement.

Pros

Great team, company really encourages work life balance and understands things come up. Super supportive.

Cons

The HR team rolls out new software every year that always is an attempt to "support the process" but more often than not feels like a waste of time for most employees / overly complicates processes.

Pros

Great company and people with benefits similar to larger contractors.

Cons

Like any contractor it largely depends on the government team with whom you work.
