Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the compensation and mentorship opportunities at SPA to be positive and beneficial. SPA has invested significantly in our Learning and Development offerings, including the highly successful Mentorship Program, so it’s great to see the efforts are resonating. All employees are encouraged to monitor Nexus for announcements surrounding mentor opportunities and apply as either a mentor or mentee. We recognize that flexibility in work location can be valuable when maintaining a healthy and productive work-life balance, and that’s why SPA strives to offer flexibility as much as we can while adhering to the needs and requirements of our customers, just as our competitors must do as well. Though positions may be guided by the customers they support, SPA offers eligible employees options such as flex time, floating holidays, and industry leading PTO, to allow folks more autonomy over their schedules. Thank you again for your thoughts. We encourage you to continue to share specific feedback with your manager.

Pros

Great team, company really encourages work life balance and understands things come up. Super supportive.

Cons

The HR team rolls out new software every year that always is an attempt to "support the process" but more often than not feels like a waste of time for most employees / overly complicates processes.

Pros

Great company and people with benefits similar to larger contractors.

Cons

Like any contractor it largely depends on the government team with whom you work.
