Pros

Work is occasionally interesting/stimulating. Depends on contract availability. 10 holidays. Friendly work environment.

Cons

Benefits not competitive. 8.5 hour work day. Management out of touch with employees. No real sick leave. Non-existent corporate communications. Work environment varies hugely depending on group/division you are assigned to. Retired senior military in most leadership positions are not up to the task of managing civilians. Company is hemorrhaging smart young workers.

Great team, company really encourages work life balance and understands things come up. Super supportive.

Cons

The HR team rolls out new software every year that always is an attempt to "support the process" but more often than not feels like a waste of time for most employees / overly complicates processes.
