Pros
The pay, benefits, and facilities are excellent at SPA. The leadership is respectful and considerate, and are very much interested in seeing their employees succeed. You do get a good exposure to leaders in Government.
Cons
The type of work performed is not very technical, and the company as a whole is made up of almost 60% retired military. Younger employees may find the work to not be very engaging and at times you might feel like a glorified secretary. With so many retired military leaders in the company, it feels like career mobility is limited unless you plan to stay 20 years. A typical day includes a lot of time spent sending emails, in meetings, and editing/writing documents in microsoft word.
