Pros

Access to a variety of different projects, each of which are challenging in their own right. Good benefits.

Cons

No sick leave. Okay PTO, except for senior personnel who get an absurd amount. Use their own proprietary scripting language that will in no ways benefit you in any other company. Advancement seems to be tied to duration of employment rather than performance. Exceptional performance is verbally praise but so is standard performance, so it's all rather droll. Limited bonus opportunity. They hand one out to every employee early on to tantalize them, but don't expect anything after that. If you do get a bonus it'll be given to the team and you'll only see a fraction of it. Dated practices and operations. Spent years modernizing data ingestion, but personnel at all levels pushed back throughout, even after marked improvements. There seems to be no idea how to modernize, no interest in it, and no support for it even after its been demonstrated. Recent benefit revisit saw a generous increase of senior level PTO with no improvement to junior personnel. Mergers and change in management over the past years have resulted in rapid growth, but management is constantly struggling to keep up. There’s a serious lack of mid-level personnel, as most young professionals don’t stick around that long. The diversity is entirely lip service; excepting security 90% of staff are white straight men.
