Systems Products and Solutions Response

As much as we would like to respond to you’s remarks, it’s difficult to do so without understanding your specific concerns or issues. Relative to benefits, SPS offers very competitive benefit packages to include benefits many companies are not or may not be able offer. Relative to turnover, our employee retention rate, which something we closely monitor, is consistent with or above the industry average. Finally, SPS takes great pride in the level of competency maintained by our management staff. Our 95% customer satisfaction rates, which is a key metric of our AS9100 (rev D)
Aerospace and ISO 9001-2015 products and Services Quality Management Systems, supports this conclusion. We appreciate your feedback.

The Michigan Office was a good environment in which to work; professional, friendly, relaxed, and positive for the most part. The personnel at the corporate office in Huntsville, AL were, at the time I was laid off, highly competent and responsive, although there tends to be a high turnover rate at the company with little forewarning. The Michigan new business developer worked hard to keep work coming in for the Michigan office. The work was challenging and interesting, and the Michigan training development team consisted of, overall, really great people with whom to work.
Cons
Salaries are low for skilled artists and developers because of budget issues. Work is project based and workers are laid off when a contract ends. There are fairly significant issues with retaining talented and skilled individuals. The company will try to find other work for you, but interruptions to employment occur repeatedly for anyone whose position is tied to a contract. Because layoffs occur once a year to every two years, it cripples team advancement. There is no time for research and development to make products more efficiently or advance new products. The lay offs are also extremely detrimental to morale.
IT support in Michigan is also problematic because there was no dedicated on-site IT personnel, and it made it difficult to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot any problems that arose. It had a negative impact on workflow.
