Pros
meet new people, good for a first job, get your feet wet. flexible schedule if you work a 2nd job, or youre in school, or youre running a small business on the side but could use the extra income. opportunities for advancement get bonuses even on small upsellable items like air filters, wipers, coolant flushes, etc. The Take 5 spirit had always been originally known to be: a fun, cheerful, easy going, low pressure atmosphere. IF ONLY they could bring that back.
Cons
low pay unless you are the computer guy AND manage to make a LOAD of upsells . Driven Brands has pretty much turned Take 5 away from its original spirit / culture and turned it into an extremely high pressure atmosphere, with a lot of excessive confusion, disorder and chaos. The push for a faster pace of work than what was reasonable. Too much number crunching (ticket averages, pit times, etc, and the pressure amongst each other, from employees to customers, and even employees to each other). way too many good workers have left, having seen what Take 5 has turned into now. actually some of these things i could probably tolerate, but just, NOT FOR A LOW $7 dollars an hour. I can make that at taco bell making burritos.
