Pros

Free training, opportunities for new clinicians to gain experience, supervision

Cons

It’s a typical predatory community mental health model. Overwork and underpay the clinicians who actually do the work, so they can bill as much as possible and fund administrative positions who add zero value. Too top heavy, pay not inline with education, benefits that are impossible to use or you’ll end up not meeting billable hours, and get written up. Micro aggressions are common and not appropriately addressed. Burn out is high.
