Pros
The only thing that made coming to this job positive was my interactions with clients. Most of my coworkers were great to work with. You do get a lot of PTO, but that's to compensate for the low pay and lack of holiday pay.
Cons
Don't expect to be treated any different than the clients. The pay is absolutely horrendous, starting pay is $10/hr with no degrees, and only a 25 cent/hr increase for each degree level above that. It simply isn't worth it for the expectations and stress you will go through. You won't even get a bonus until you've worked there for about 2 years. Directors micro manage through the inefficient multiple layers of supervisors, who have no real power in their supervisory roles. There is constant change in policies and second guessing, and no real growth opportunities. Most people are just working there to get experience until they get a better job elsewhere, which really hampers TH's ability to retain qualified staff to treat clients. Average turnover rate was about 2 per month. I really feel bad for the clients.
