Pros
The benefits are why I believe people stay so long. The Health Insurance is excellent and the ATO accrual is extremely generous. I do trust TGH with all my families care.
Cons
The Cons are specific to the IT department and not the organization as a whole. One of the Epic Teams has been bleeding staff over the past few years, I would guess their attrition rate is hovering around 70%. The management is about the worst I have ever encountered. Their treatment of staff is at the very least bullying and in some instances I would say emotional torture. Public humiliation, gaslighting, and personal attacks are all par for the course on this team. They are pushing good loyal TGH employees out the door. When the environment has gotten so toxic that people are afraid to ask work related questions for fear of having it reported back to management then you have a serious problem. How can an IT department function in a non collaborative environment?
