Pros
The pay, benefits, 401k match, overall company and district positive culture.
Cons
The workload in my role was consistently heavier than expected, which made it challenging to complete everything within regular working hours. There was limited collaboration and support for HR functions from fellow peers and store directors, which added to the difficulty. As the company was going through changes, schedules for leaders shifted and I was asked to work more nights and weekends than was typical for my role. Feedback was shared, but there were limited opportunities for it to be incorporated. Overall, maintaining a healthy work-life balance was challenging, and I (along with a lot of my peer HR's in the district) often found myself working on days off to keep up with responsibilities.
