Pros

Decent pay Growth opportunities Consistent hours Great coworkers

Cons

They push for your lunch break to be as late as possible and don't really try to get you covered so you can eat Poor communication between leaders/employees and between different departments Training doesn't cover everything and you learn a lot on the job but are expected to know things that were not in the trainings

Pros

Remote, manageable workload, benefits, compassionate and supportive leadership, continuous training, doesn't micro-manage, great culture and diversity, pleasant work-life balance

Cons

Trying to explore other roles within the company or move up is a popularity contest rather than based on skill and experience.

Pros

I found nothing positive about working here

Cons

As a part time employee expect to consistently work 7-8 day stretches. In my experience orientation was disorganized. I wasn’t given the opportunity to do anything of the computer training. I had to actually request time to complete it. If you have scheduling issues; you’ll be told it’s an HR issue. Which in reality it’s a Store Director issue. You can also expect not to receive skill or knowledge assessments and be assigned tasked for which you haven’t been trained. All in all only work here if you enjoy chaos theory and enjoy being set up to fail.

Pros

**★★★★☆ (4/5)** Overall, Target is a great place to work. The team is friendly and supportive, management is generally helpful, and the work environment is clean, organized, and fast-paced. The training was straightforward, and I enjoyed working with my coworkers and helping customers.

Cons

The main downside is that hours can be reduced significantly, especially for part-time employees. If you're relying on consistent income, the fluctuating schedule can be challenging. Aside from the limited hours, I had a positive experience and would recommend Target to anyone looking for a good retail job with a positive work environment.

Pros

Part of work shift outside of business hours so no customers to deal with

Cons

Toxic and Tone-Deaf Executive Leadership made life miserable for all employees whenever they were present and frequently berated employees over publicly-audible walkie-talkies carried by every member in the store. Routinely held back from any career advancement or training by leadership afraid to be outclassed by more competent employees that could do their job better.
