Pros

The team atmosphere was usually great. If you had a good crew on your shift, the day went by fast. Training was straightforward, and you’re not just thrown in without help (at least in my experience). The employee discount is actually useful, especially if you already shop there. There’s room to move up if you’re reliable and willing to take on more responsibility. I saw several coworkers become team leads. You stay busy. If you don’t like just standing around, that’s a plus.

Cons

Hours can be unpredictable. One week you might get close to full-time, the next week not so much. Holiday season is intense. Black Friday and the weeks leading up to Christmas are exhausting. Metrics matter a lot, especially in fulfillment. It can feel like you’re constantly racing a timer. Your experience really depends on management. A strong leader makes a huge difference; a disorganized one makes shifts feel twice as long.
