Pros
A lot of great people Lots of benefits, memorable company parties Flexible hours and work mode - on site, remote or hybrid Nice and well equipped office building in Wrocław Access to and working with cutting edge tech and hardware/software partners Industry veterans and experts (though a lot of them left recently or think about leaving) Exciting challenges at times (though hardly enough time to face them properly)
Cons
Chaos, chaos, chaos. Poorly planned, managed and executed, exhaustingly long projects. A lot of "good will but no skill", especially in the management. People hired or promoted to management positions without actual relevant skills for it. Firefighting is the default work mode. No pause to reflect on mistakes, learn or celebrate wins, just get to the next issue of the day. Shortsightedness and lack of cohesive overarching vision. No past reflection whatsoever. Hermetic team silos bad at communicating with each other. Unhealthy "hacker" mentality. People making quick and dirty patches are glorified and promoted, leading to large and growing technological debt, poor quality code and bugs everywhere. Quick results always win over good results. A lot of encouragements to grow but little space or means to do so. There's always another high priority bug or ad hoc added feature to work on. Propaganda of "company values" that don't exist at all in day to day work. There's no physical way to adhere to them, no matter how much you'd want, but you're judged on them anyway for your bonus. Technology often feels like second class citizen in Techland. Programmers have little to no say on what the produced game is. Suggestions, ideas or even pointing out stupid things falls on deaf ears on the "creative" side if there even is a rare occasion to pass that feedback to them.
