Management team is highly inexperienced. Most of the managers all the way to senior-level management have never worked in any environment besides TTI, and as a result have a narrow view as to what dictates success and performance. During the pandemic field representatives were expected to continue full-time, customer-facing work and were not provided protective equipment and face masks until April 18th 2020. I was banned by management from promotions because I refused to violate our retailers' COVID restrictions regarding store activity and suggesting innovative customer engagement techniques that did not pose unnecessary health risks. The direct-level management does not understand the difference between leadership and bullying and consistently relies on the latter in order to complete objectives. The company loves to brag about how much the employees love the organization, and will discuss the number of new employee referrals as evidence to how much the employees love the company. The part that they leave out is that each quarter management dictates that each employee submit a minimum of 3 employee referrals and will "coach" you if you are unable to meet this objective. This organization places little to no emphasis on experiences outside of the company - I have attended a service academy, completed undergraduate dual degree in Finance and accounting at a top-20 university, have completed my MBA and have 7 years of professional working experience, but promotions are being offered to employees with significantly lower sales performance, non-business related degrees and no professional work experience. I was also injured while at work and was provided approximately 1 hour of notice before they completely pulled me from work and refused to allow me to continue work in a capacity with which I was able to fulfill. The role is in no way a fulfilling job, and the employees at retail centers rarely treat you with any level of respect. Pay is good as a very first job, but the pay increases upon promotions are minimal compared to other organizations.
