This job seems great at first. Great pay, a company car, etc. After three rounds of cooperate-like interviews, you will be spending everyday all day in The Home Depot with absolutely nothing to do. You are literally a glorified home depot associate. The work they tell you to do is down-stocking boxes on the home depot ladders and selling the products. There is truly no need to have a college degree for this job, it is very easy and not challenging whatsoever. There is no sick time (have to use PTO). Working alone 99% of the time, false information about promotions, mostly everyone has to relocate. If you are a woman, be prepared to be harassed and hit on by customers and associates at the home depot. The managers will only care about getting promoted again and not their reps. Very little communication about what is expected to fill up 8 or 10 hour days in store. The biggest con for me is when I was interviewing they asked if I would be willing to "work a few weekends, here and there". I did not know this at the time, but the EMS role is working 29/52 Saturdays of the year. You will be working every single weekend (Saturday and Sunday from 7am-5:30pm) for the entire summer.
