Pros
Salary and benefits were great. Company discount on products was nice. PTO upfront. If you can survive for a year or more, you’re almost guaranteed a promotion. The products are pretty cool.
Cons
Have not met any coworkers or former employees who would recommend the company to a friend. “It’s a job” is the most common phrase people utter when describing the never-ending fire drills and long, unpredictable hours. No one respects each other’s time. You will often be called into an impromptu meetings with no warning regardless of your other responsibilities. Turnover is very high, even in professional roles like finance and product management it is close to 100%. Cultural mindset of “survival of the fittest” seems to permeate all the way to executive management. There’s often competition against other business units instead of collaboration. Typical work involves excessively cumbersome and massive excel files or poorly documented processes. Nothing worse than being hired only to feel your entire job is ripe for automation.
