Cons
Where should I even start? I noticed something was amiss at this company the first week and even told my wife about it. I came from an industry where providing quality to the end-user was the primary mission. We achieved this by leveraging our team's talent with a sense of self-respect to deliver a product we could be all proud of. So it was an absolute shellshock to see how any morsel of talent at this company is regularly expunged, and management is so completely devoid of ethics and accountability through its business practices it's criminal, literally. -Nepotism- Yes, as others have pointed out, you will find no shortage of incompetence reigning prominently at the top of the leadership with no rationale other than birthright. You are not the exception to this rule, don't even try. -Quality- There are basic industry standards for manufacturing consumer electronic devices. Do you know them? Leadership does, but since it is not cost-effective for them to carry out, you will not see them executed here. Prepare thyself for minimal testing, engineering development, and nonexistent adherence to key standards of quality assurance. -Company Culture- It has become customary with this company to regularly lay off large swaths of people only to transition into a hiring frenzy immediately. Despite town hall meetings with riveting and inspiring speeches from leadership, these words only fall on deaf ears as their actions have led to critically low employee morale with no change in sight. ***Legality*** I could manage to stifle the vomit as I watched them knowingly push their poorly designed products down the throats of their disrespected customer base. However, where I draw the line is watching them skirt United States law and tariffs by manufacturing these products in China and subsequently shipping the materials to Vietnam and falsely claiming it as the country of origin. This is illegal, and federal indictment should ensue. Heed my warning and heed it well. You are better than this, be better than this. I challenge you to find a new company aligning with your core values and morals. This, my friends, is not it!!!
