ESD-Verified Insufficient Reasons for Termination - Summer Laborer Teck Resources Limited Employee Review

Fired after four weeks of employment for reasons insufficient and embellished. Told I could return after I acquire more experience in the field. Position I held ceased to exist within weeks of firing. Vindicated after thorough vetting by Employment Security Dept. and being awarded Employer-Paid unemployment benefits. I am the sole breadwinner of a family with 4 children. I left a good job to join TECK and had hopes of making a career there. TECK was not justified in the firing and subsequently leaving our family high and dry for the 8 weeks it took the ESD to conduct their investigation.
