Bleeding edge technology Not just a SW company and not just a HW company Good co-workers who care about what they do and want their project to succeed Benefits were excellent - no deductible on at least one of the package No bonus but did have profit sharing Employee Stock Purchase Plan -15% as I recall - stock now pays a dividend because they have so much cash

Poor management in the mid-tier I had good and bad managers while at Teradyne (like most companies) One manager was useless - he wasn't a mentor...he didn't lead. I don't think he ever had a single thought that was his own. He was a follower. I never felt like he was in my corner - I couldn't trust him I also had great managers....well one. This guy had my back. It was a tough program. Lots of challenges and it felt great when we finished.
