Pros
Lots of nice, friendly colleagues. Good procedures and systems. If you have a great manager/ mentor and good team - it can be very rewarding. Staff treated well during good times.
Cons
No projects = huge layoffs.... nature of the business really. Slight resentment between old guard (ppl employed prior to acquisition) and the new guard. Rumours of big salary hikes for top brass vs layoffs left right and centre - left bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.
