Pros
-Nice Pay -Plenty of social people -Plenty of work to do -A good stepping stone for moving on to other opportunities. Textron is a good name and alot of the systems and software used are used at other large businesses. Will gain plenty of experience working here. -Management is fairly non-intrusive. Give a task, let you do your work kind of environment. -Plenty of opportunity to get out of your cube and do some physical labor working on vehicles, depending on your project.
Cons
-Too much like highschool. 'Groups' form, too much socializing, etc. -While plenty of work, its very mundane. Going above and beyond is often pointless, as ideas get shot down by management in favor of cheapness. -'Savings' not accurately measured. A department saves 2000$ a year, but adds 5000$ of work to another department, they are rewarded for saving 2000$ while other department is told to take cost out.
