Pros
The people served. Other than that N/A.
Cons
You should only work here if work/life balance isn’t important to you. You will work tirelessly and relentlessly to get things done without any appreciation for the work that you do. The organization leads by catering to donors as opposed to clients. They do not care about us—the people on the ground, the frontline workers making a real difference and showing up everyday throughout a pandemic to provide care and compassion for the most vulnerable. The Fundraising team is treated like Kings and Queens while everyone else has to use computers from 1999. Working here will make you question your faith rather than embrace it. They also are very secretive—lying and withholding information—things a quality, good standing nonprofit should never do. It’s a real shame upon the legacy of Reverend Ruliffson, Dr. Klopsch, Jerry & Maria McAuley, and Reverend Sutherland. Fix your mess.
