Pros
Doesnāt take long to be eligible for health insurance. Usually plenty of hours to be had. Enjoyed working with about 95% of the staff and managers.
Cons
Was verbally harassed on a daily basis by another āseniorā employee for WEEKS before management effectively āresolvedā (huge eye roll here) the situation. Shouldāve known this was a bad omen as it was my first month or two on the job. Was consistently praised for my ability to train thoroughly, yet somehow never received a timely performance review or raise. Was gaslit into believing I should be doing training videos at home for FREE... and made to feel like I was being unreasonable about demanding to be paid for completing easily more than 4 hours of videos. Someone make it make sense š Was told upon finding a new job that I was welcome back anytime (despite all this I tried my best to remain positive, but Iām sure my frustrations were felt). Upon being laid off from my new job after the pandemic, called to reapply for my old job and everyone was on board until I spoke with the same manager who refused to pay me. Suddenly they werenāt so big on being a ācheesecake familyā and decided to turn me down, I assume because I made a lot of noise about not being paid for the aforementioned training.
