Pros

The Columbus Organization has an administrative team that are willing and driven to supply case managers with every needed item and support to ensure consumer success. I appreciate that the administrators have confidence in my work ethic and provide compensation for travel without proof of each mile driven. I have confidence in the supervision team that they will return a phone call or email promptly so I can complete my work timely in support of my consumer needs. As a seasoned case management professional, I appreciate that the case load size is manageable and with the time management techniques I've learned over the years; with a full case load, I'm able to complete all my work within the hours of 8-5 with no need to work in the evenings.

Cons

As a case management professional, the only con that comes into play is that working from home inevitably leads to isolation and no team camaraderie, however, the Columbus Organization does an amazing job of ensuring this does not occur by having monthly meetings with team members to build support among the team members.

Pros

Working as a Care Manager here has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my nursing career. This company truly values balance, flexibility, and people. The hybrid-remote model allows me to be fully present for my family while still feeling deeply connected to my colleagues and leadership. The level of team support and collaboration, even in a virtual setting, far exceeds what I have experienced in traditional in-office environments. Leadership demonstrates real compassion and shared governance in action. They listen, they problem-solve, and they make you feel heard, whether it is about workload, salary alignment, or professional goals. When I have raised concerns, I have been met with understanding and proactive support, not defensiveness or delay. Incentives and recognition programs are motivating, and there are abundant opportunities for both professional and personal growth. This is a company that genuinely cares, not just about clients but about the people who make the work happen. I have grown here as a nurse, a leader, and a parent. The ability to have a meaningful career and be present for my kids is something I would not trade for the world. If you are looking for a team where integrity, compassion, and flexibility guide the culture, this is it.

Cons

Benefit package is a bit expensive understandably for a smaller company

Pros

Only upside is paycheck but you are overworked anyway, so it ends up being like 5 dollars an hour

Cons

I would not recommend anyone to work here. They made their Support Coordinators do so much more with very little positive feedback. Management pushes people to their limits and they overwork you hard. They don’t care about anyone’s life and they have awful policies that push employees to their breaking point. They partake in careless firing and they don’t reward anyone who works there. Please run and don’t apply because you will regret it. Making the money wasn’t even worth it because there is no work-life balance.
