Pros

Fellow floor nurses and techs are wonderful and make the days tolerable

Cons

Widespread abuse from patients, management who looks the other way and refuses to take care of it's staff, severely understaffed at ALL TIMES which creates dangerous situations, tone-deaf management whos only focus is the bottom line, punitive environment. Certain units such as 3S have management who are condescending, threaten when tasks don't get accomplished because of time restraints, make excuses for and apologize TO patients who swear at and hit nurses. I've seen instances where a patient will hit a nurse and the management will go into the room and apologize to the PATIENT. If you enjoy abuse, getting calls/texts each and every day your off to come in, being spoken down to on a regular basis then come on down! My 2 weeks will be put in very shortly!!
