Pros
The patients are appreciative of the support you provide.
Cons
Leadership is unprofessional. The company uses employee practices employees that are dehumanizing and display a lack of best practice and values. Employees are erroneously billed for employee health expenses. Employees get sent to collection agency without any prior communication or outreach. HR takes no ownership for not following best practices and not communicating. Exit interview requests are not performed even when the employee asks repeatedly. There is not interest in improving. I extended my notice to make sure I trained my replacement and provided support. I left in good standing. I assumed that my relocation bonus repayment would be deducted from my last paycheck as per normal HR protocols. It wasn't. A year later I received a letter from a collection agency asking for a large sum with no details. I thought it was an employee health bill. I spoke to 5 departments (including HR) who assured me that I had no balance on any of my account. I continued pressing and called the collection agency. I was finally told by HR that I had not repaid my relocation bonus as per my contract. I was never asked, billed or otherwise contacted. Absolutely no communication was sent (although they claimed they sent an email but could not produce proof). They had my home address and phone number on file, they never bothered. I didn't have a problem with repaying the relo bonus, I do have a problem with employees past and present being sent to collection agencies because HR didn't do its job and due diligence. No wonder their turnover is through the roof.
