I haven't come across any toxic coworkers or managers so far - it speaks to the culture of the organisation, but it seems case by case per team
Very horizontal/ democratic work structure (without hierarchy)
Cons
Despite being a global organization, it lacks structure and processes to efficiently work with other offices (ex. global, regional, country office), which leads to severe inefficiencies

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We’re glad to hear that you’ve had positive interactions with colleagues and managers so far. Our culture is incredibly important to us, and it’s encouraging to know it shows up in your day‑to‑day work. As a global organization, we recognize that navigating can be difficult, we would love to hear more and find ways how we can help. Please reach out to us at recruiting@tnc.org.

Prioritizes comfort over continuous improvement.
Very bureaucratic and slow.
Incredibly sensitive culture to a point of extremity--don't think you're in a safe space or that you can be open with any communication. Someone will be offended by your honesty and the backlash is yours to manage. They prefer people to just go with the flow even if it's painful, inefficient, etc.
