Pros

I've worked for the organization for over five years and have over ten years of experience within the recruitment sector. Having worked for some of the largest recruitment firms in the industry and for some boutique firms as well I would say Planet has built a near perfect staffing and consulting organization . The entrepreneurial spirited culture is unmatched in the industry. The company invests in all of the latest and leading technologies to ensure both sales and recruiters have the best tools and resources to be successful. The commission plan, incentives, bonuses, and company trips are the best in the industry. Leadership provides both sales and recruiters with proper direction, guidance, and mentoring that gives all employees the opportunity to be successful and move up within the organization. Training program in very strong. You are in control of your own success, what you put into organization is exactly what you will get out of it. Sales team has deep contacts in the markets they serve which leads to a strong client base. Energetic, fun, and rewarding culture that breads success for sales minded and entrepreneurial spirited professionals.

Pros

Good breadth of offerings in the staffing world and some boutique consulting services, although they have recently carved off some businesses and that is making them more niche again.

Cons

Constant turnover at the top levels. They have lost at least 2 CEOs (without any public notice) and there's been a lot of talent loss and role-shifting at the VP levels and above. They have radically changed comp plans within the Sales teams, and it's caused them to lose a lot of their A players. Cost-cutting seems to be the driver. Honestly, I'm not sure what their strategy is anymore. They seemed to have a "plan" when I was there, but they've become just another staffing company in my mind.
