Teaching is great, Office is not - SAT Teacher The Princeton Review Employee Review

Pros

Get to help high schoolers who want to learn an opportunity to increase their score and even get in the college of their choice.

Cons

The office is not very helpful, especially the "Director of Operations" (who has been demoted to Operations Manager due to poor leadership). No raises ever for any instructor. Constant backstabbing and decreasing pay or cutting off hours, after working them to "save money on the bottom line". Office only cares about bottom line, not the front line.

Pros

The strategies and course content are great. Jealous of these students! All the materials are already provided to the instructors and you have the flexibility to bid for courses that fit your schedule. Very supportive admin team.

Cons

Wouldn't rely on this as main income as schedules/course biddings are not guaranteed. But I have never bid with full schedule availability so I can't say for sure.
