Pros

The teaching rate is $35/hour.

Cons

The LiveOnline online classroom platform looks like it was built in the early 2010s. It's incredibly slow, full of bugs, and has limited functionality. Since you're spending at least 7.5 hours per week logged into this platform, its many shortcomings quickly get old. There is limited enjoyment to be found in talking to a group of 30 students who reply to your questions only via a chat feature. Management is slow and incompetent, from emails full of unprofessional formatting and typographical errors to scheduling inefficiencies. There are is no room for upward movement. You teach you first course at $35/hour and then you teach the rest of your courses at $35/hour. Maybe you can start doing some tutoring, but even then you're required to keep teaching.

Pros

The strategies and course content are great. Jealous of these students! All the materials are already provided to the instructors and you have the flexibility to bid for courses that fit your schedule. Very supportive admin team.

Cons

Wouldn't rely on this as main income as schedules/course biddings are not guaranteed. But I have never bid with full schedule availability so I can't say for sure.
