Pros

Good initial teacher training. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Absurdly low pay. Turnover is high because people realize they should just take the credential and tutor independently. Nasty administrators get away with it because there is no way to give constructive feedback. Zero feedback or professional growth opportunity after training. You get like 1/15th of the income your bring in. Also, realize that you are being paid crap money to protect the Ivy Tower and American academia from minorities by offering elite tutoring to families who an afford TPR's exorbitant prices. You are giving rich kids the keys to the castle.

Pros

The strategies and course content are great. Jealous of these students! All the materials are already provided to the instructors and you have the flexibility to bid for courses that fit your schedule. Very supportive admin team.

Cons

Wouldn't rely on this as main income as schedules/course biddings are not guaranteed. But I have never bid with full schedule availability so I can't say for sure.
