Pros
The location is cool, I find great reward in working with children and making them smile, and it’s flexible hours for a part-time position. Occasionally, there are perks since the school’s clientele is affluent
Cons
It is difficult to get scheduled until you “prove” to teachers that you’re reliable. If you call out/are sick more than once they start to not schedule you. They don’t r e a l l y invest in helping you further a teaching education. It’s malarkey. If you need something quick go for it, but unless you’re an already established teacher there expect to be overworked, overlooked yet underpaid
