Pros
A lot of support from co-teachers/colleagues, nice and friendly parents, beautiful children, multi-cultural.
Cons
Unorganized, deceiving, and manipulators. They tell you in order to get hired as an Associate, you must "trial" for 5 days. This gives them time to determine whether or not they want to keep you as a permanent employee. Well 5 days turns into weeks, and months in some cases. While you are on your trial period, you get a whopping pay rate of $10/hr. I did not make it past 3 weeks of my trial period because I gave up. I didn't sign up to work as a "substitute" just to fill in for classrooms that need extra help because that's all they are doing, just using you for cheap labor for as long as they can. I have heard horror stories of employees being on trial for up to 6 months. Ridiculous!!! There is no feedback and you have to question them about the status of your employment with the company. If you don't question them, then you will be ignored and they will continue to randomly schedule you to work as a "fill-in" until you've had enough. They also basically "force" you to take their Montessori training, which you by the way have to pay for. They deduct it from your check. And if you don't agree to take the training, they threaten to not hire you. Bullies.
