Pros

Decent chance to build your resume. Hours are very good and reasonable. Teams are positive and the people are generally great. Given a good amount of trust to find your way and help customers as feels best. No script you have to follow, just checkmarks to hit on a call for quality.

Cons

Changes in progression have taken away most routes to a career. Changes in management have stripped much of what made the company unique and it feels more corporate than ever.

Pros

In the beginning of my time at the company, there were so many positives. I struggle to find a single one, now.

Cons

Everyone from old Zappos quit or was forced out and replaced by people who have clearly never had a job before, yet get paid way more than I do. Leadership is scarily terrible. I went to HR on leadership many times but they didn’t care and told me I was the problem for enjoying the “old Zappos”. I am not allowed to list specific names in my review or else “new Zappos” remove it, but do not join marketing for LACK of experienced, smart, and kind hearted leadership.
