Pros

When I first started at tb things were very difficult. Things improved when corporate started to come and visit often. Then management changed and it’s a different atmosphere. Managers now care about the kids and want to see them improve. They also care about staff. They listen to RBTs and hear any concerns with no judgement. They often buy us food or breakfast. We now have monthly outings. Other RBTs are amazing as well. We have a lot of fun together and support each other in the work environment.

Cons

You get 10 days of vacation that you have to earn throughout the year. This is also used for your sick days or if you need a dental visit. The insurance through the company is also very expensive if you are an RBT with bills to pay.

Pros

- Access to Dr. Crone and Treatment leadership collaboration is readily available. BCBAs don't live on an island. -Eagerness to support patient/family needs to impact progress with skill acquisition and successful transitions to school/vocational environments. -Expressed values (We put patients first, we are better together, we make therapy fun, and above all we grow potential) are applied versus only vocalized. I love working with a team of individuals that really do care and will do whatever we can to make good choices for patients and staff. -Significant efforts are in motion to nurture and foster RBTs and BCBAs with ability to have the best of both worlds (happy work and personal lives). -We have VERY talented, fun, and committed staff.

Cons

-Not a con... but happiness/success in this field typically requires open-minded motivation to learn and ability to adapt to changes in treatment needs with flexibility.

High base salaries. Ample opportunities for NET.

Cons

-Virtually absent structured onboarding for BCBAs. -Inadequate systems and software for programming and data analysis. -No regular off the floor training for RBTs, client team trainings are one and done in 30 minutes after operations (not CD) approval. -Clinical recommendations and overall BCBA expertise is negligible in value to the organization. -Sweeping changes repeatedly occur that affect treatment without consulting or collaborating with BCBAs. -Condescending micromanagement and inflexibility with schedule, no work from home. -Non responsive HR
