Pros

1. Initial training is provided. 2. Some passionate individuals still work at the clinical level. 3. Opportunities to gain entry-level experience in the field. 4. Company expansion offers occasional internal mobility. 5. Surface-level resources and materials are available.

Cons

1. Profit Over People: Leadership prioritizes financial gain over the quality of treatment and employee well-being. 2. Toxic Leadership and HR Neglect: HR fails to support employees, allowing individuals who endanger clients or engage in harassment to remain employed — and even advance to management positions. 3. False Public Image: The company maintains a polished, attractive exterior while hiding a toxic and unethical internal culture. 4. No Real Work/Life Balance: Management roles come with unrealistic expectations and an unsustainable workload, disregarding employee health. 5. Betrayal of Founding Mission: Therapy and Beyond has lost sight of Dr. Crone’s original vision to genuinely serve individuals on the spectrum and their families.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your recognition of the initial training, passionate clinical staff, and internal mobility opportunities within our growing organization. Feedback is essential to our continued growth and improvement. We’re deeply concerned by the issues you've raised regarding leadership, HR practices, and work-life balance. These are not the standards we strive to uphold. Therapy and Beyond was founded with the mission to provide high-quality, ethical care to individuals on the autism spectrum, and we take seriously any feedback that suggests we may be falling short of that mission. We recognize that company growth can create challenges, including maintaining alignment with our core values and supporting staff at every level. We are actively working to enhance internal communication, provide additional leadership development, and strengthen HR processes to ensure all concerns are addressed thoroughly and fairly. We are committed to creating a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and heard—and where client care remains the top priority. Your feedback is being shared with our executive and HR teams as part of an ongoing review of our internal practices. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention. We wish you all the best in your professional journey.

Pros

- Access to Dr. Crone and Treatment leadership collaboration is readily available. BCBAs don't live on an island. -Eagerness to support patient/family needs to impact progress with skill acquisition and successful transitions to school/vocational environments. -Expressed values (We put patients first, we are better together, we make therapy fun, and above all we grow potential) are applied versus only vocalized. I love working with a team of individuals that really do care and will do whatever we can to make good choices for patients and staff. -Significant efforts are in motion to nurture and foster RBTs and BCBAs with ability to have the best of both worlds (happy work and personal lives). -We have VERY talented, fun, and committed staff.

Cons

-Not a con... but happiness/success in this field typically requires open-minded motivation to learn and ability to adapt to changes in treatment needs with flexibility.

Pros

High base salaries. Ample opportunities for NET.

Cons

-Virtually absent structured onboarding for BCBAs. -Inadequate systems and software for programming and data analysis. -No regular off the floor training for RBTs, client team trainings are one and done in 30 minutes after operations (not CD) approval. -Clinical recommendations and overall BCBA expertise is negligible in value to the organization. -Sweeping changes repeatedly occur that affect treatment without consulting or collaborating with BCBAs. -Condescending micromanagement and inflexibility with schedule, no work from home. -Non responsive HR
