Pros

Benefits are great, pay is above average

Cons

Absolute worst company I have every worked for. Nepotism is high, environment follows high-school politics. Instead of focusing on the product (which changes every 6 months) the focus is on the CEO and her needs as an individual. Micro-management to the Nth degree, they employ smart people and then wear them down with pettiness. Promotions are arbitrary and dependent on if your liked, not how well you perform.

Pros

Working at Thrive Global has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to work cross-functionally with smart, passionate teams who care deeply about both business performance and human well-being. There’s a strong focus on innovation, especially around using AI to democratize access to behavior change and expert-level coaching, which makes the work feel cutting-edge and meaningful. Thrive strikes a rare balance: we move fast and iterate constantly, but we also respect boundaries, recovery, and taking time to reset. That makes this a sustainable place to do ambitious work — a rarity in the startup and health tech worlds.

Cons

As with any fast-growing company, priorities shift quickly. This environment is best suited for self-starters who are energized by building things from the ground up and don’t need rigid structure to thrive.

Pros

You will go through life knowing you survived the worst job environment imaginable.

Cons

Abusive environment - fake company to bolster one woman's ego and failed career. Ask any employee what this company does and everyone will give you a different answer. The product is ineffective, the customers are just friends of the CEO. Everyone is overworked, employees are publicly shamed and yelled at, goals are constantly changed, leadership does not care about employees, people will just disappear (fired or forced out) with no explanation... and yet this is a wellness company. Some of the employees are great but once they are at this company too long, will become backstabbing all in order to gain favor with the CEO. People with no experience will suddenly be promoted into senior roles and then when they undoubtedly fail will be blamed for the failing of the company. There are no boundaries, you will be called on your personal cell at any time of day.
