Pros

I've worked here at Thrive for almost a year now and I have to say, my concerns coming into Thrive were immediately wiped away as I was impressed by my direct leadership and the support of the executive team. Thrive is constantly changing and with that comes growing pains. The north star that keeps me grounded are simply the people that I have the pleasure of working with on a day-to-day basis. There is no red tape when it comes to help. Ask and you shall receive. Need advice on something, no problem -- just crowd source it. Our teams are highly collaborative and aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up to get the work done. It's this type of dedication that gets me excited to continue marching forward on the mission that myself and everyone here so deeply cares about. What we're doing matters and sometimes, it's easy to lose sight of that. Making the decision to work at Thrive was the best decision I could have made in my career.

Cons

With any fast growing start-up, there will be challenges associated with product, attrition, direction, etc. That's the name of the game with a company at this stage. This isn't a con, it's just the reality. If you want to work at a company that is established and there is clear certainty on a day-to-day basis, Thrive isn't the answer. If you want to come to work every day where you genuinely feel challenged and are asked to solve new problems and achieve what hasn't been done before, this is the place. We are writing our story as we go and that's pretty cool to me.

Pros

Working at Thrive Global has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to work cross-functionally with smart, passionate teams who care deeply about both business performance and human well-being. There’s a strong focus on innovation, especially around using AI to democratize access to behavior change and expert-level coaching, which makes the work feel cutting-edge and meaningful. Thrive strikes a rare balance: we move fast and iterate constantly, but we also respect boundaries, recovery, and taking time to reset. That makes this a sustainable place to do ambitious work — a rarity in the startup and health tech worlds.

Cons

As with any fast-growing company, priorities shift quickly. This environment is best suited for self-starters who are energized by building things from the ground up and don’t need rigid structure to thrive.

Pros

Benefits are great, pay is above average

Cons

Absolute worst company I have every worked for. Nepotism is high, environment follows high-school politics. Instead of focusing on the product (which changes every 6 months) the focus is on the CEO and her needs as an individual. Micro-management to the Nth degree, they employ smart people and then wear them down with pettiness. Promotions are arbitrary and dependent on if your liked, not how well you perform.
