Pros

Challenging work with a wide array of responsibilities. Learning opportunities and ability to grow your professional skillset is the only silver lining to this place.

Cons

CEO and upper management are hypocrites that do NOT care about company employees and/or their wellbeing. The illusion that this organization is a champion for change became glaringly evident within my first month of working there. This company profits off of a mission they do not practice themselves and I have never felt more burnt out than when I worked here. Thrive failed to retain most employees past 6 months - 1 year of them joining, let alone adhere to its mission to "reduce stress and burnout in the workplace." My time, personal boundaries, physical and mental health had all declined due to the toxicity and disrespect I endured at this place.

Pros

Working at Thrive Global has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to work cross-functionally with smart, passionate teams who care deeply about both business performance and human well-being. There’s a strong focus on innovation, especially around using AI to democratize access to behavior change and expert-level coaching, which makes the work feel cutting-edge and meaningful. Thrive strikes a rare balance: we move fast and iterate constantly, but we also respect boundaries, recovery, and taking time to reset. That makes this a sustainable place to do ambitious work — a rarity in the startup and health tech worlds.

Cons

As with any fast-growing company, priorities shift quickly. This environment is best suited for self-starters who are energized by building things from the ground up and don’t need rigid structure to thrive.

Pros

Benefits are great, pay is above average

Cons

Absolute worst company I have every worked for. Nepotism is high, environment follows high-school politics. Instead of focusing on the product (which changes every 6 months) the focus is on the CEO and her needs as an individual. Micro-management to the Nth degree, they employ smart people and then wear them down with pettiness. Promotions are arbitrary and dependent on if your liked, not how well you perform.
