Pros
Flexibility to determine your own hours
Cons
Where do I start? You have to go to an online training before you begin. For over 2 hours, I listened to some girl from Lynchburg read off of slides at the fastest pace I have ever seen. It wasn't helpful at all. They make it seem like they invest so much in you at the front (insurance, getting on panels, psych today listing) but you only get paid once a month and it's not a regular amount (you have to wait until insurance reimburses them to get what you are actually owed.) I was making around $27 an hour which was ridiculuous. Also the "leadership" isn't available at all. They don't answer emails (even when urgent) and provide little to no support. If you are a newer clinician, you want to look elsewhere. You can make so much more working for yourself or another private practice. I should have run away.
