I would send an email to a department and frequently wait a week or more for a response. When I would receive it, it was perfunctory and half the time didn't address the actual issue. I would communicate with the chain of command and often not receive a reply, or a greatly delayed reply. The Billing department in particular has practices that border on unethical. I have had nonstop issues with client billing which I have dutifully and professionally attempted to resolve, of which very few have seen a satisfactory resolution. They bill clients large bills ($500+) with very little notice or explanation, and are extremely difficult to get ahold of to address the issue. There is no POC for client questions, so all queries get sent to a generic inbox that is massively under-staffed. The clinician compensation is way below market standard. They changed EHR platforms and the rollout was a disaster; they blamed the contracted company for failed promises, but they have failed promises to clinicians too many times to count or cite as a result of decisions like these.
