Cons
I had wanted to work for Tinuiti for 2 years and finally got the opportunity to work there. I thought it was going to be a dream job at a dream company. Unfortunately the stress levels from workload, pressure, 9-5 meetings with no time for lunch or to even use the bathroom, navigating politics, constantly having to stand up for my team internally, etc. were so high that I went from taking anxiety medicine for flying only, to taking it 2-3 times a week to calm myself down. I am normally a chill person, do yoga and meditate several times a week, but this was just another level of stress. I ended up getting a medical condition that cost me $1,000s to figure out what was going on. My husband swore it was due to stress and he was right, it has mostly resolved since I left the company and feel like myself again. The newly implemented company shutdowns are a great attempt at relieving burnout but by the time they come up, people are so exhausted and overworked that it doesn't even feel like a benefit at that point. My weekends turned into recoveries and pulling myself back together instead of relaxation time. This company had so much potential but I left after only 6 months because of this and am now making 17% more at another company as an individual contributor with real work/life balance. The pay and work/life balance could be so much better at Tinuiti and would really make it shine. It was unfortunately one of my worst career experiences in my 16 years of work.
