      Pros

      Toptal is one of the best freelancing platforms if you are a person based in EU, hours are flexible and as a freelancer you also get a chance to work with companies long term but gain all the benefits from freelancing and still stay flexible. As an agency they handle all the paperwork and negotiations.

      Cons

      Paperwork they handle also includes all the salary and the concept is that you never know what employer actually pays you because you get payed from the agency, which can be pro and con depending on your needs, but still something to be aware of.

      Pros

      TopTal has been an amazing way to connect with a wider range of companies and teams. As a freelancer I have found their vetting process (both for talent and for clients) to be effective and apt.

      Cons

      At times the process for engaging with clients or tracking work is unclear. Once you've gone through it a couple of times, however, it's easier to navigate.
