Lack of management. Micromanaging. Bias. After working for a company that values me as an individual, for my work ethic and skills, I would not take a position with this company again. I started in Covid The companies expectations were reasonable for the time. It was very easy to recruit and stay consistent during covid, because the applicant pool was vast. When the market crashed after covid was over, the company kept their same expectations. They did not take into account the hundreds of thousands of dollars that had been earned by each recruiter previously. They only looked at where you were currently and didn't factor in the unstable market. Eventually they changed management for the entire office because they thought "maybe the managers are the reason people are struggling and not our high expectations in this broken market". I lost an amazing manager due to this. Micromanagement started - 50 cold calls a day, 500 text messages a week. Then the "coaching plans" that give you 4 weeks to gain more nurses on your books before termination. These were constantly extended of course, as they would have to pay unemployment if they actually fired you. This was more of a ploy to get you to quit on your own. Team leads had no responsibility either, it was simply checking off boxes for them so they could report to management and say they did everything they could to help us succeed when they themselves were also failing. Eventually it was a matter of hanging on to your job by a thread. It's hard to put the blame on anyone for the poor guidance and management there because no one was trained. The excuse was always "I am just telling you what I was told". The only good thing I got from this company was the experience to move up, and never work for an agency like them again.
